Catherine Brings Knowledge, Compassion and a Deep Connection to Nature into Every Consultation
Catherine grew up in the countryside in Warwickshire. Her mother was a psychoanalyst with an interest in nature and alternative medicine. Her father was also a great lover of the British countryside and spent many years filming nature and wildlife. In his final years, he lived in Cornwall, where he spent his time sailing and making nature films.
Together, her parents shared their love of nature with their children, and this had an influence on shaping Catherine’s dream of working with herbs and creating herbal medicines (and perfumes as a side hobby).
Her brother has spent many years working with First Nation People in Canada. He is also a photographer and, like the rest of the family, has a deep love of nature.
Catherine graduated from Middlesex University in 2003 with an Honours Degree in Herbal Medicine (Phytotherapy), a degree course approved by The National Institute of Medical Herbalists (NIMH).
Catherine feels incredibly honoured and blessed to have had the Legendary Master Medical Herbalist Christopher Hedley as one of her teachers who inspired and supported her in her herbal journey for many years.
For more than 22 years she has continued to expand and deepen her knowledge of herbal medicine, helping individuals from all walks of life through a personalised and holistic approach to healthcare.
